VtM Simplified (Vampire the Masquerade hack)
A downloadable game
A set of vastly simplified rules intended for running a Vampire: the Masquerade one-shot or short campaign with relatively minimal set-up on the part of the players. These simplified rules draw from both V20 and V5, and have been designed to be understandable and playable for players aged 12-18. Terminology has been modified along with the rules to facilitate quick explanations and ease of recall for younger players.
PDF contains printable character sheets with instructions for character generation; the simplified basic rules of play; a list of the vampire clans with relevant mechanics; a list of vampiric powers (derived from V20 Disciplines) with relevant mechanics; and a page of notes describing the design rationales of the adaptation as well as some suggestions for modifying the simplified rules to reintroduce more complex mechanics from the base game.
Note: PDF is not fillable; character sheets must be printed out to be used. Document is printer-friendly and can be used as a player handout.
All content is written to be player-facing and under the assumption that players are unfamiliar with the base game. Using this ruleset does, however, require the GM/Storyteller to be familiar with some version of the original rules for VtM and with the setting.

You did not include Tremere as base clan, but included Tzimisce and Lasombra? Why? I'm not sure I understand the goal of your game design decisions here?
the primary goal of my game design decisions for this hack was "what will be fun for my teenage siblings to play while also being easy for them to learn and remember"! frankly, i also can't rule out the possibility that i simply forgot about the tremere when putting the document together, as they've never been a clan i found particularly interesting and so it tends to slip my mind that they exist.
Thank you so much for simplifying this. I was getting too confused with V5 corebook as the information is scattered throughout the book and there was no quickstart to keep things simple.
Thank you for making this! You’ve made it so much easier for me to run my chronicle as a ST.
Oh, I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed my thing :)
